The wind speeds predicted for a proposed site using a micro-scale wind flow model nested within the meso-scale model can be provided in a format that is fully compatible with GH WindFarmer to provide preliminary energy yield predictions and layout optimisation. Both the modelling results and the GH WindFarmer outputs can be easily visualised within Google Earth.
