“Garrad Hassan is delighted to have won the contract to supply Falck Renewables with our leading edge SCADA system for this portfolio of wind farms.  This further strengthens our position as a key supplier of enterprise quality independent SCADA for both individual and portfolios of wind farms, designed to meet the demanding requirements of sophisticated owners and operators“.

Garrad Hassan announces availability of GH SCADA for Mitsubishi’s MWT92 2.4MW Turbine - 1st Jun 2007

Garrad Hassan has developed an interface between the GH SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) solution and the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries MWT92 2.4 MW turbine.

This interface and the GH SCADA solution are currently being utilized to monitor and control the prototype MWT92/2.4, undergoing long-term testing at MHI’s Yokohama site.

GH is ready to deploy this new interface for the MWT92/2.4 and has already received inquiries about the GH SCADA system for projects using this turbine in the USA.

GH provides its GH SCADA solution for monitoring and control of over 600 MW of MHI turbines and expects that total to nearly double by the end of 2007. The GH SCADA system is currently under evaluation for two projects that will be using the 2.4 MW turbines. These projects will begin construction in the 2nd quarter of 2008.
